If you are considering a permanent move or just a vacation, consider using a relocation report to guide your decision-making. We've all had the experience that we feel like a different person in different places. Astrologers can actually predict the type of experiences you will have at specific locations by relocating your birth chart to the new location and surveying the changes.

In the 1970's Jim Lewis, pioneered a mapping technology called Astro*Carto*Graphy that lets one easily scan the globe to find the best location for different activities. The theory is quite simple. If you want to enhance some aspect of your life, go to a place where the relevant planet was powerful at the time of your birth. Thus if you want to improve your love life, consider moving to or vacationing where Venus is strong for you.

 

Astrocartography techniques have been further refined and validated since the 70's. The official Astro*Carto*Graphy maps just mapped two major lines for each planet (the MC-IC line and the Asc-Dsc line). This works great when you are scanning the globe and aren't focused on a particular theme or location, but we can now do more detailed analysis. The Kepler program has done an especially good job at making sophisticated astrocartography techniques easily accessible by producing 'treasure maps' that focus on particular themes. Treasure maps show more lines than a standard Astro*Carto*Graphy map and give more details about each theme.

Kepler is the only one that produces treasure maps with explanations. Solar Fire, Solar Maps and Win*Star produce detailed generic maps that can be used by trained astrologers to investigate any theme, but they don't have 'theme based' reports. Instead they have 'location based' reports that describe all the themes going on at a particular location. After you narrow your search to a few locations with a Treasure Map, you may want to order one of the relocation reports to get the full dossier on how the astrological influences will affect you there. Each of the major companies sell a relocation-based report writer. We have sample reports from all of them. You may buy the report writer or just order a personalized report for a location you are considering for a vacation or a 'permanent' move.
